Jennifer Fox is a contemporary wildlife artist who aims to stretch the viewer’s imagination with realistic animal renderings in abstract surroundings. She is continually inspired by the personality quirks of her horse and donkey, while frequently photographing the local birds and wildlife for artistic reference. Her chosen mediums to convey her imagination are various paint mediums and graphite.
“I witness so much wonder and curiosity in the behavior of the simple crow, while Nuthatches perform bird acrobatics hanging upside down on feeders. Wild horses play, scratch and nuzzle each other although they are still on constant alert. There is so much personality in the behaviors of our wildlife that we so often miss and my hope is to capture those simple moments in a creative manner that others may recognize and delight in.”

Jennifer Fox is a wildlife artist that is celebrated for her portrayal of nature in a vivid manner with incredible realism and abstraction combined to create a unique visual experience. Her portfolio is a combination of paints and pencils for Fox is not an artist limited by her choice of medium as long as it portrays her perception of wildlife to the world.
Born in Washington DC, Jennifer has moved frequently in her life. Currently living in the peaceful wooded countryside just outside Indianapolis, she has settled down in the most ideal place that brings her closer to the subject matter that you can see in most of her work – nature.
